These easy no-bake peanut butter protein balls are made with just five simple ingredients and come together in under ten minutes. They hold together perfectly, taste like dessert, and keep you full between meals.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter (natural, no-stir recommended)
  • 1 cup old-fashioned rolled oats
  • ⅓ cup honey (or maple syrup for vegan)
  • ⅓ cup ground flaxseed
  • ⅓ cup mini chocolate chips (dark, milk, or semi-sweet)

Instructions

  1. Mix the wet ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of creamy peanut butter and ⅓ cup of honey. Stir until fully incorporated.
  2. Add the dry ingredients: Add 1 cup of rolled oats and ⅓ cup of ground flaxseed. Stir until evenly distributed and the dough comes together into a cohesive, slightly sticky mass.
  3. Fold in the chocolate chips: Add ⅓ cup of mini chocolate chips and gently fold until evenly distributed.
  4. Roll into balls: Using a cookie scoop or tablespoon, scoop portions of dough and roll between your palms to form smooth balls. You should get about 18 to 20 balls.
  5. Chill and set: Place the balls on a parchment-lined baking sheet or plate and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes. Transfer to an airtight container for storage.

Notes

If dough is too dry, add a teaspoon of honey or a splash of milk. If too sticky, add a tablespoon of oats. Use room temperature peanut butter for easier mixing. Chilling is essential for the balls to hold their shape. For best texture, use old-fashioned rolled oats, not quick oats.
