A quick and festive Halloween candy board that turns store-bought sweets into a visually stunning centerpiece. Ready in under 15 minutes, it’s perfect for parties, movie nights, or classroom celebrations.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups candy corn
  • 1 cup miniature chocolate bars (Snickers, Milky Way, or Reese’s cups)
  • 1 cup pretzel sticks
  • ½ cup orange slice candy
  • 1 cup pumpkin-shaped peanut butter candies (Reese’s Pumpkins)
  • ½ cup dark chocolate-covered almonds
  • ½ cup Halloween M&Ms
  • 1 cup popcorn (plain or lightly salted)
  • 1 fresh orange (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Prepare your board: Place a large wooden board or platter on a clean surface. If using parchment paper, cut it to fit and lay it flat. Position 3-4 small bowls or ramekins around the board.
  2. Fill the bowls: Pour Halloween M&Ms into one bowl, dark chocolate-covered almonds into another, and orange slice candies into a third. Arrange the bowls in a balanced visual triangle.
  3. Create the candy corn section: Pour candy corn into a diagonal line or large pile on one side of the board. Spread it out so it’s easy to grab.
  4. Add the chocolate bars: Unwrap miniature chocolate bars and arrange them in a row or cluster on the opposite side of the board from the candy corn. Place Reese’s Pumpkins nearby.
  5. Place the pretzel sticks: Arrange pretzel sticks in a small pile or fan shape near the chocolate.
  6. Add the popcorn: Scatter popcorn in empty spaces around the bowls and candy piles to fill gaps and add volume.
  7. Garnish with fresh orange slices: If using, slice the orange into thin rounds and place them around the edges of the board.
  8. Final adjustments: Step back and check the board. Fill any bare spots with extra popcorn or candy corn. Ensure colors are balanced.

Notes

Use fresh candy corn for best texture. Avoid overloading the board; leave breathing room between sections. Can be assembled up to 2 hours ahead; cover loosely with plastic wrap and keep at room temperature. Do not refrigerate.
