A simple and refreshing frozen strawberry rosé frosé that’s perfect for summer parties and casual gatherings, blending frozen strawberries, rosé wine, honey, lemon juice, and ice for a crisp, sweet, and slushy drink.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 bottle (750 ml) dry rosé wine, chilled
  • 2 cups (about 300 grams) frozen strawberries
  • 2 tablespoons (30 ml) honey or agave syrup
  • 1 tablespoon (15 ml) fresh lemon juice
  • 1 to cups (about 240360 ml) ice cubes
  • Optional garnishes: fresh strawberries, lemon wedges, mint leaves

Instructions

  1. Freeze the rosé: Pour the bottle of rosé into an ice cube tray or shallow container. Freeze for at least 4 hours or ideally overnight.
  2. Prepare ingredients: Measure out 2 cups of frozen strawberries, 2 tablespoons honey, and 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice. Have your ice cubes ready.
  3. Blend base: In your blender, combine the frozen rosé cubes, frozen strawberries, honey, and lemon juice. Start blending on low and gradually increase speed.
  4. Add ice: Add 1 cup of ice cubes to the blender. Continue blending until smooth. If the consistency is too thick, add a splash of rosé or cold water to loosen it up. If too thin, add more ice cubes or frozen strawberries.
  5. Taste and adjust: Give it a quick taste. Add more honey if you want it sweeter, or a squeeze more lemon if you like it brighter.
  6. Serve immediately: Pour into glasses and garnish with fresh strawberries or lemon wedges. Optionally, add a sprig of mint for a fresh touch.
  7. Enjoy responsibly: This recipe serves about 4, so share the summer vibe with friends or sip slowly on a warm afternoon.

Notes

Freeze rosé in advance for best texture. Blend just before serving to keep slushy consistency. Avoid overblending to prevent melting. Adjust sweetness with honey or alternatives. Serve immediately to prevent separation.
