A creamy, cozy fall drink combining rich cold brew coffee with a silky pumpkin-spiced vanilla sweet cream float. Perfect for a refreshing seasonal treat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup (240 ml) cold brew coffee
  • 2 tablespoons (30 g) pumpkin puree
  • 1 teaspoon (2 g) pumpkin pie spice
  • 1 teaspoon (5 ml) vanilla extract
  • ½ cup (120 ml) heavy cream (or coconut cream for dairy-free)
  • 2 tablespoons (30 ml) sweetened condensed milk (or coconut condensed milk/maple syrup for dairy-free)
  • Ice cubes

Instructions

  1. Chill your mixing bowl and whisk or mixer attachments in the fridge for about 10 minutes.
  2. In the chilled bowl, combine heavy cream, sweetened condensed milk, vanilla extract, pumpkin puree, and pumpkin pie spice.
  3. Whisk or beat on medium-high speed until soft peaks form, about 3-5 minutes, ensuring the cream is thick but still pourable.
  4. Fill a tall glass about ¾ full with ice cubes.
  5. Slowly pour cold brew coffee over the ice.
  6. Gently spoon or pour the pumpkin spice vanilla sweet cream over the cold brew to float on top.
  7. Serve immediately with a straw or long spoon, stirring gently if desired.

Notes

Do not overwhip the cream to avoid grainy texture. Pour cream slowly over the back of a spoon to keep it floating longer. Use smooth, medium roast cold brew for best flavor. For dairy-free, substitute heavy cream with coconut cream and sweetened condensed milk with coconut condensed milk or maple syrup. Prepare cream fresh or up to 24 hours ahead and keep refrigerated.
