Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup (90g) rolled oats
  • 1 cup (240ml) milk (any kind)
  • 3 tablespoons (48g) creamy peanut butter
  • 1 medium ripe banana
  • 1/4 cup (60g) Greek yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon (12g) chia seeds (optional)
  • 12 teaspoons maple syrup or honey (optional)
  • Pinch of salt
  • Optional mix-ins: dark chocolate chips, chopped peanuts, sliced almonds, cinnamon, cocoa powder, or jam

Instructions

  1. Mash the banana in a medium bowl or jar until smooth with a few tiny lumps.
  2. Add milk, Greek yogurt, and peanut butter to the mashed banana. Stir until peanut butter is fully incorporated.
  3. Add rolled oats, chia seeds (if using), and a pinch of salt. Stir until evenly combined.
  4. Taste and add maple syrup or honey if needed.
  5. Divide mixture evenly between two jars or containers, leaving about an inch of space at the top.
  6. Refrigerate for at least 6-8 hours or overnight.
  7. In the morning, stir well. If too thick, add a splash of milk. Top with sliced banana, peanut butter drizzle, cinnamon, or other desired toppings.

Notes

Use rolled oats for best texture. Mash banana well to avoid cold chunks. Let peanut butter come to room temperature for easier mixing. Stir in the morning to redistribute peanut butter. Add toppings just before serving for best texture. Oats keep in fridge for up to 4 days.
